16th April 2023 Howard Bryant (United Kingdom): I am the great grandson of Arthur Maslen - some of the Maslen shops can be seen in the photos. And then grandson of Lena Maslen (born 1893 as shown in the census records). Thank you very much for this site. I have a self written auto biography of Lena's eldest daughter, Olga. It is mostly centred on her life and the people in Bathford from around the 1900's. I could make it available for the site as an eyewitness archive if that were useful. I myself grew up in Bathford Parish but not the village - on the other side of the valley in Meadow Park.

Charles's uncle (and brother of Alfred)was William Baldwin, whose first wife was Elizabeth Kemmery - a relation of the "Mr Kemery, the foreman employed by the Bath Stone Firms Ltd"?
